It appears that bloodletting has no effect on poison, even when receiving the "strong leeches" echo suggesting a successful attempt. No change in damage verb from the poison, poison duration, or poison effect (-5 str). The only notable change is the damage from the skill itself and the -con affect of the skill.

Skill: 'bark skin' modifies armor class by -36 for 12 hours.
Skill: 'poison' modifies strength by -5 for 6 hours.
Skill: 'warcry' modifies save vs spell by -6 for 4 hours.
Skill: 'warcry' modifies hit roll by 3 for 4 hours.

It can make the poison easier to cure (not something you'll notice via damage/AF).
