I'd expect the 'flee result' would come in after the 'Your senses reel and you lay stunned'?

It's tricky to knock you out, deal the damage, keep you from fleeing from that damage, then knock you out again because the damage woke you.

But in this instance, it's reasonable that the sandstone golem's blow can knock you unconscious after you stagger out of the room, so I'm not too worried about it.
