I have noticed a difference in how the herbs are listed during gameplay and how they are listed after you log out and back in.
When gathering the herbs list from greatest time to expire to least. When form is taken and the lowest in the stack goes to Spent, which is great because it will be first to expire. But after a log out the order of the herbs reverse to least time to expire to greatest. The result being if you now take a form and spend a set of herbs it is the last set that will expire, leaving you with a spent set of herbs for the longest possible time.

Normally when I have about 5 hours left on a set thats when I might take flight off to an area to regather, but with the flip in the order after logout/in it makes this impossible.

Anyway, low on the priority list I'm sure, but if someone could give it some thought.

For now: by bad design. It's been posted a handful of times before, always with the same answer. Right now it's more work than it's worth to fix. Eventually it'll probably get fixed.
