So someone teleports away at convulsing, dies to some random aggro mob, rage quits or deletes. I'm not getting the echo because I didn't land the kill (but it's a supported kill now correct?) - shouldn't I get the message since I contributed towards the majority of the death?

Probably fixed with the last set of changes to this feature.
