Street of Guilds
Slinking between the crush of stone buildings and balconies, the narrow
street leads north and south in a winding route to each of the guild houses.
Wooden benches sit in front of some of the buildings, traders and nomads
occasionally stopping to sit and chat beneath the flowering vines of some
crumbling old patio jutting out of the upper floors of the old buildings
around you. To the west lies the formidable Guild of Assassins, the royal
sigil of the city upon its doors. To the east lies a peculiar structure of
wood and stone, a hodge podge of styles and additions to the original building.

Street of Guilds Bridge
This stone and wood bridge arches up over the Khalid River just high
enough to allow the smaller transport vessels to pass below. Lanterns hang
along the tiled roof that sprawls over the bridge on heavy wooden beams.
Citizens of the city pass by on their way to and from the South District of
the city which perches above the swirling waters of the river in a dirty,
jumbled mess compared to the whitewashed buildings to the north.
A nomad trader walks the city streets.
