Before a Guard Tower
The overgrown path ends abruptly at a boxy guard tower. It stands nearly
two stories tall - tall enough for a posted scout to see for miles in any
direction on a clear day. The tower shows signs of wear and age. Motley,
patchwork repairs mar the tower, as if it were originally a temporary
emplacement. Reinforcements had been applied throughout the years as the
siege encampment became a more permanent residence. Now it stands empty, a
silent sentinel aging in this abandoned camp. The overgrown trail narrows
as it turns northward, ending in a wall of dagger-thorn shrubs.

A lightly armored scout fidgets with nervous energy.

As you push through the dagger-thorn shrubs, razor sharp thorns tear at your flesh!
The rending thorns *** DEMOLISHES *** you!
You have been KILLED!!

Your body regains its material form.
You feel the spirit of the Wolf leave you.
You have died, but the Carrion Fields are not finished with you yet!
Your soul is returned to the realms in the form of a ghost.
You will return to your corporeal state in a short while.
Be careful, for even a ghost should fear some dangers!

This seems like a very physical-type damage thing, not something that should hamper ghosts. Thought it was worth tossing up here. Direction spam ftl!!
