#18949, "Embalming breaks area explore"


          

If you die and your corpse is embalmed your gear does not return to you from an area explore because your corpse doesn't rot.

If it matters, I died to the necro in Thar-Acacia that PWKs and was embalmed by Tavlin.

Yes it does...it just takes a lot longer to rot than normal.

A while ago there was a change to make your stuff return faster. Does that change not apply to embalmed corpses? Or does it apply but still takes a really long time?
