Leading past the front of the Sultan's Grand Palace, this road of pale
stone is five spans wide and lined with many lanterns on poles. To the
north the main gate of the palace towers over the trickle of petitioners
and soldiers that come and go from the royal grounds beyond. Prayers to
the patron gods of the city are carved into stone posts that have been
erected equidistantly along the edge of the street, each topped with a
brass lantern.

A man lies here in squalor, begging for food.
Tied to a hitch, a camel stands here, spitting into the crowd.

You feel more confident as a massive bombardier beetle!
You lift your abdomen and spray the area with acid!
You fade into existence.
Your spray of acid EVISCERATES a filthy beggar!
A filthy beggar is DEAD!!
You receive 0 experience points (16% bonus).
A filthy beggar's severed head plops on the ground.
You can't pick anything up.
The gods give you one copper coin for your sacrifice of the burnt corpse of a filthy beggar.

The echo suggests an area attack but it can't be used that way, nor does it hit all things in the area.
