I might not get how this works and so it's not bugged, but it seems it and an imm said may as well ask, so here you go. It's a two parter. Got to a shop and tried to sell something, said he was closed. Tried about 100 times and he never bought it or did anything other than repeat the same I'm closed echo. The helpfile makes me feel like I should be able to try selling during off hours. Didn't work.

The other thing is that once I practiced Trade Connections, when I use list or sell or whatever, the shopkeeper no longer gives me his hours, just says I'm closed.

It is not something you get to do all the time, more like X times in Y hours.
