Dear Bug Board,

My cherub was murdered just now and I didn't take any damage at the moment of its death. It also wasn't released by being killed. I couldn't call another one. I could send commands to it but couldn't get any echos from it. When I tried to release it, I got the message that it was too far away to release. Went to where it died and tried again with no luck. Then I quit, logged in, and was able to call familiar.

I think its possible I was due to lose a con point when it died, too, but I didn't lose one. What should I do?

cheers,
confused, the conjurer.

You are correct. I'd forgotten that detail for all the new and quest familiars. They'll all be right now.

Steps to reproduce
1. Cherub (familiar) dies.
2. Conjurer doesn't take any damage for it, and con doesn't go down.
3. Can't call familiar again until log off and log back on, with the echo being "You already have a familiar."
