With no discernable source, a magnificent deluge of frost and
ice threatens to encase you.
The bitter cold numbs you.
You are frozen solid!
Pope Medius's blast of frost >>> ANNIHILATES
<<< you!
That really did HURT!
Pope Medius's divine power mauls you.
Your bite mauls Pope Medius.
Pope Medius has a few scratches.

<614/985hp 445/1126m 755/755mv (indoor) *civilized* 3 AM

You're totally frozen!

The Crimson Dragon can do it
The Demon in Morton can do it
This Pope can do it.
Any creature that can do the frost blast can do it.
Same with the Flame, Acid, Gas and Lightning blasts.

Is this by design or an over sight?

Because it's really really rough, that's through aura and
stonskin on a Crocodile defense form. I was hit by an unspeaks
as well.

What is "it"?

I'm assuming you're talking about being frozen by a frost
breath, and if so, yes that's by design. As for a croc taking
an unspeak...yeah...when you're vulnerable to cold that will
happen.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

The Unspeak was from a Flame blast on the croc, the frost
breath only hit for ANIHILATES.

And "it" is the massive breath attacks and the fact
that all mobs that have the ability to do a breath attack do
all of the breath attacks, not just one or two that would seem
fitting.

And "this" was asking if the massive damage from
breaths done by mobs like the dying demon in Morton and all
the ailments the breaths can cause are by design, even on mobs
that are soloable. Just seems like a bit of overkill to give
any mob that can do a breath attack the ability to cause this
kind of trouble.

Sorry if I was a little vague before.

If I'm still to vague...just smack me.

Thanks

Lucky RNG that time then :)

The mobs you listed all have the spec_breath_any prog,
so yes. That's by design.

Yes, the level of the breath scales with the level of the mob,
so fighting something like the dying demon which is level 55,
is going to end up with massive breaths. By design.

Nope, definitely clarified. Thanks!

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Damage from breath attacks drops as their hp drops. So they
do get easier as they get weaker.
