On the Aryth Ocean

Malakhi is sleeping here.
A huge male cloud giant stands here.

<1044/1233hp 617/1013m 249mv> 17010tnl
Malakhi wakes up and starts resting.
You slowly float to the ground.
The Nightwalker yells 'Malakhi! Now you die!'
The Nightwalker's claw wounds Malakhi.

<1047/1233hp 633/1013m 298mv> 17010tnl
Malakhi has fled!
Malakhi leaves south.

<1047/1233hp 633/1013m 298mv> 17010tnl
Malakhi has arrived.

<1047/1233hp 633/1013m 298mv> 17010tnl c plague mal

Malakhi leaves north.
A cloud father seems to be unaffected.
You parry a cloud father's beating.
A cloud father decimates you!
A cloud father's beating mauls you.
You parry a cloud father's beating.
Your flaming bite DISMEMBERS a cloud father!
A cloud father dodges your wrath.
Your flaming bite MASSACRES a cloud father!
Your wrath MANGLES a cloud father!
A cloud father has some small but disgusting cuts.

During group mob-killing I have also seen weird things. Ex) While spamming energy drain against a mob I will sometimes see "The Gods protect groupmate from you." First off, the groupmate was actually in my range. Second, it makes no sense that the targeting would go crazy. Also, when those times occurred, my energy drain actually did go through against the mob. It's like it got treated as a hostile area spell, or something.

Unfortunately for you, that's a MALe cloud father.

Blame Jullias' choice of keywords.

The part where I'm seeing "The Gods protect so-and-so?" I can try to get a log of it if you need.
