Just called the bear. Maybe they can turn against me but I have yet to see it happen before, but I figured it was a bug with waylay. On top of that, it keeps tracking and attacking after it flees before I finally tamed it.

above the sea level. Slightly west and down below you, the steep, rocky path
can be seen somewhat clearly, but upwards it disappears into the thickening fog.
