The burrowing owl vision seems to be stuck at the time he shifts and does not change with the time of day. For instance, if it is daytime when I shift, I never gain the ability to see concealed foes when it turns night. If I shift into burrowing owl at night time, I can see hidden foes fine in both day and night time until I revert.
