Dashing and wingsweeping?


Expected:
When I dash into a room and wingsweep I assume I'll get the first strike in the room, even against mobs. And if I don't, I don't expect to get a timer on the ability I never got to use.

There, the assassination gets the first strike. Fine might be coded that way, don't know. But I still get the wingsweep timer?

Steps to reproduce:
1: Use an arial warrior to dash into a room and wingsweep.
2: Make sure the room has a mob that assassinates on entry.

I didn't reproduce this as my con just hit 4 when I did that.

Always shoot first and then call whatever you hit the target.

Dash doesn't beat everything and never has.

It sais, after his death, that he can't use his wingsweep again for 2 hours.....


I'm not sure if the wingsweep timer gets shorter with lvls, or with edges, but I'm not sure if it gets down to 2 hours.

It looks to me, like he had used it in the past, and tried this dash/wingsweep 2 hours before he could wingsweep again.

And like any dash-into-death, the command went through after he died.

if the skill wasn't still on a cooldown, I think he would have seen a "you need to stand up" or something, because dieing puts you resting, and he couldn't have wingswept in that position.

...is that he's getting the wingsweep cool-down timer after being killed?

He cut out the log post-death, but I'd be curious to see his affect list.
