#12942, "Vault and sleep"
|
I witnessed this earlier. Ardonik vaulted Corsix, but Corsix put him to sleep, yet because of vault, Ardonik was able to wake himself up.
You scan south. ***** Range 1 ***** (Leaping) (Red Aura) Ardonik is sleeping here. Corsix is here.

So make it multiply the damage of a missed vault,

To me, the obvious solution is that the vault misses, and when the slept ap lands, they wake up.

Just because you vaulted doesn't make you immune to sleep. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Well, no, but... if you fall asleep in midair, I can't see any way that you'll land gently... and that falling damage would wake you up.
Kind of like putting someone on fire to sleep. Yeah, you can do it, and it works, but because of a pre-existing condition it won't last long.

But what if Corsix took damage from vault, instead of the AP falling in mid-air and waking himself up from damage to himself? I assume that is what happened, by the comments Corsix made IC. In which case, that'd be a bug.
What you say makes sense though.

Yeah. He ran in, vaulted, I slept him, and I still ate the vault.
Blah.

You get lagged badly when you miss on landing.
So the person that slept them could make another attempt at it.
Just feels to me that demo damage would wake you.
