as much fun as exploiting this would be. It seems thick veined = riddle of resistance as it halves the malediction from whirl/impale/boneshatter. Now if this is intentional then maybe thick veined shouldn't be one of the cheaper edge options out there.

There are four mentions of this edge in the code, and none of them do that.
