#10042, "Vethrai mob oddity."

The Vethrai mob has two distinct attacktypes in combat -- the damage type of his mainhand wield and a second one of the 'slice' type, as seen here;

Your defensive spin deflects Vethrai the One-Pawed's defilement.
Your defensive spin deflects Vethrai the One-Pawed's slice.

This seems a bit odd, given that...

Vethrai the One-Pawed is using:
<worn on hindpaws> crimson-stained claw pads
<worn on forepaws> a pair of steel-clawed frontpaw gauntlets
<mainhand wielded> a fang-hilted dagger

...the only way this 'slice' attack seems possible is if the mob has a hook, or similar object, taking the place of his severed paw which could allow for such improvisational dual-wielding. If that indeed is the case however, then Vethrai's decription makes no mention of it;

A feral and starved thief, Vethrai was left with one paw when he tried to steal from the coffers from some of the Ostalagiah elite. He was given no trial, simply his oppressive place among the Arena floor to fight for his remaining life. He was first crippled and then left here to fend for himself. Still capable of making use with one of his paws, Vethrai fancies his white fur etched with streaks of red, either from blood or the wild feral fur that grows as a mane along his back.
