1) Players feel slighted when someone gets a title and they don't, or a lastname and they didn't. Does that mean that those have mechanical benefits?
2) As a precursor to further discussion, do you understand the idea that a quest skill could both be an improvement to the character and irrelevant in a given fight?
The non-lesser archangel does have solid advantages in a few situations -- for example, if you were trying to kill the angel. I don't believe any of those situations are relevant to this fight.
