I didn't have enhanced reactions, and was like level 42 I think. He was level 51, had been for quite a while, and likely had it EH perfected.

I'm pretty sure the impale did more than -6-6 but I'm also fairly sure I had it covered or close to covered (might have dropped my dex due to all of the dern eq I wore).

But yeah, horrid RNG loving on that one.
