The goodies almost *never* outnumber the evils. I don't think it's something likely to happen, either. I think everybody would be very, very surprised. However, I could be wrong.
As an orc, you have some skills to help you: you can forcedmarch to get a bit of extra moves to run from a pursuer, you can hide in caves/swamps if you take the time to learn where they are. Also, orcs have quite a bit of hp, so they're pretty hardy.
