While going through the academy(the first place you start our), please please please read all the signs. Read the help files as well. This will help you all out soo much. Suggested help files to read immediately: help 270<communication>, help 1737/1738/1739<the newbie helpfiles>, help 263<drop, get, give, and put commands>. Become familiar with these and you be a long way ahead of the game. It will make your time in Carrion Fields much easier as those who have played for a while will be more tolerant/patient since you took time to learn the basics.
