Just so I'm not misunderstanding you, did you just say:

"Araevin was the weakest example of his race/class combo. And yet, I am unwilling to spend the preps necessary to handle the weakest example of this particular race/class combo."

That seems to imply:

"I will never fight this race/class combo solo, period."

Seems a little hypocritical to call him "weak" when you flat out refuse to fight even a "weak" version of his combo.

I mean...it's not like he's a lich.
