I honestly believe a lot of this poison thieves are nasty trend is a lot less related to poison thieves being overpowered, but just Yanacek being a really good player.

- Hrm. I'd buy this if not for a few facts. Fact 1 - Poison thief trap items were admittedly bugged and changed. Fact 2 - Several methods of avoiding poison were meant to be in effect but were in fact bugged and thus changed.

I recall a similar incident when Amora was around. She went around wrecking everyone, and everyone thought druids were overpowered for awhile. Now...no nasty druids in awhile, no bitching about druids. I think a lot of people forget player skill will always, always, always matter more than the class power for the most part.

-Amora took grazes from wrath unprepped. This was a bug, which was changed. Herbal forage was a bug...changed. Call of the wild was too abusable with dam redux...changed.

Okay, uhm, I'm done ranting now.

- People didn't whine, people pointed out obvious gameplay bugs. Huge difference...if your paladin suddely got a power that knocked people out for 50 hours we'd all bitch there too. Amora was ok, Yanacek is decent, but their 'rise to fame' is from admitted and fixed bugs. If Amora played another druid right now, she wouldn't have been nearly as potent as Amora was because she wouldn't have 100 hour 95% dam redux.
