Yeah I died a lot, I was surprised at my ratio.

Yeah it worked almost all the time for me. Was so reliable that I
would be a fool not to use it. Maybe its that hidden dwarf axe stat

Yeah, I realize this. However I believe that prepping is boring and ruins the game. The only preps I ever went to get were detects and enlarge. Anything else I ever used I got from corpses or it was laying around.
