Gre Bluebeard (Guest)Tue 25-Mar-03 12:15 AM

#16418, "(DEL) Gre Bluebeard, Savage of the Underdark, Commandin..."

How do I start something like this, I don't really know so I'll just dive into it. I created Gre during winter break of law school as a blow off character. He was supposed to be deleted when school started up on Jan. 28th. Well it is March 24th, three months past when he was supposed to be deleted, almost 5 months after he has been created. How does these kinds of things happen, I don't know, but for some reason all my characters do this, its a curse I guess . If any of you can believe it, Gre had no role at all. I had a story but was too lazy to put it in, in game, since right when I logged on, 99% of the time I was in the middle of raid/retrieve/war, etc.

Goodbyes
Immortals:
Kastellyn: Thanks for the great interactions and the tattoo. I always enjoyed the times we could catch up with each other and sit on the big and small couch, taunt the mirror, and shoot stories at each other, it was great. Thanks so much for all the interactions and thanks for allowing me to be your first (right first?) one to be tattooed. The whole leader weapon situation was just screwed up. I had a leader weapon for approximately one day out of the 100 + hours of leading. It was weaponbroke shortly after I got it. Bitter, no, confused, yes. I seriously thought I did something wrong. I wrote you a note about it, but no answer for almost three weeks so, I just carried on. There are a few problems with your tattoo though Kastellyn, including the following, which I laughed for almost 10 minutes straight about. I thought about givin the tattoo away to someone

Heh, I'm guessing the tattoo should not be removable hey? Also, the tattoo itself is great and allowed me to do some fun things that made me larger than life, thanks again.

Thror: Never really did interact with you much, but enjoyed the times we did. I liked how you respected a villager who stood up against you (Jadirjeke) and gave him credit for doing so and didn't boot him. I was impressed there.

Immortal in the Underdark Quest: I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing hat you did. That was one of the greatest experiences on CF besides liching, talking to Tiamat, and becoming Emperor. It ranks up there in the top five experiences. That also crowned Gre's life and springboarded him into the Legend roleplay. It all just worked out so damn well. Also, you allowed me to kill Punblinpo which just made me feel so damn good. Thanks for the legacy, it was great. Also, the most epic battle between Darmok and I took place during this quest, and it is also one of the greatest fights I have ever taken a part of.

MORTALS:
BATTLE: My home away from home. My home in cyberspace. My roleplay was that Gre was a decendant of Glaus, the cloud giant on the pillar. Glaus was my first rager ever and he always wielded an axe and a mace. So I put that to work in my head and came up with Gre, the axe and mace specialist, invoker killer. My roommate actually came up with the idea and I just put it into implication. It was one beast of a combo and it was great.

Jadirjeke: One damn good assassin, as I said in your goodbye, the assassination was so awesome I have dream about it sometimes. What a damn good thing.

Broxx: You were a beast, especially in the rites. I thought you had me in the rites but somehow it was turned around. I knew I could not take you thirsted and flurrying so I just waited out the thirst and take my chances. It was a good thing. Keep it up, you were a beast and we worked well together.

Dalayr: You were a good rager and a great Drillmistress. Keep it up. It was always good joking around with you and fighting away. Take care.

Sabiene: I don't know what to say about you. You were a great defender and a great good aligned role, but you could not fight worth crap . You were an alternative rager and I respect that a ton. Not aggressive enough for me, but still great. In battles I knew I could rely on you for the bandages, and I also knew I could not rely on your black jack. Although I was at fault a couple times for waking them up. Expecially when I had no idea you were there .

Sayangu: One dangerous assassin, getting more dangerous every day. When you tagged Urzkoo that one time, it could not have come at a better time, great job. You will do well and I hope you get the Captainship I gave to you.

Alarin: As I said in game, you rocked as a tactician and as an alternative from the cookie cutter warrior rager (i.e. me . You keep it up too.

Vorsolic: One tough villager and I love how you took up the path of the cloud giant pain dealer. You will be one vicious mother when you get to hero. All should fear you, possibly more than me.

Gevarnak (sp?): You were always a welcome to the war. Resist and resisting was so awesome I cannot describe it. Keep it up and you will get everythin you want and more. You will be and already are one tough mother. Dome a few people for me.

Darmok: I always honor people who take the hard road in this game. You took one and got it all the way through. Why you went to the Empire I'll never know, but I know they hurt you bad for the choice, that is too bad. I will tell you that I had dreams about leading the Empire as well, but didn't follow up on it. Seems you did.

Wiglaf: You have to calm down a little size up situations a little better. I saw your corpse more times than I wanted to. Almost to the point of uninducting you . Heh, just kidding, keep cutting them up and I look forward to hearing of stories of you filling my giant shoes.

Grogim: I never saw you but knew you were in the works while I was sleeping. Keep on trucking and good luck.

Younger villagers. Keep it up and keep fighting. The best thing for you to do is just accept that you are going to die and equipment doesn't matter much. The best thing about Trapping is that I could do DEMOLISHES naked with a good heavy weapon. It allowed me to jump back in the game with no problem. One time my equipment was so good I felt myself not taking chances anymore, that is when I charge in and purposely lose all my equipment against a horde of nexus, while stashing a hefty axe, thin axe,a nd flaming sceptre somewhere to get later, just so I didn't have equipment over my head, clouding my decisions.

WARLOCKS:
Jhard: I really don't know if you knew why I "Bah"ed you all the time. I did it because I was checking if you were in form or not when I was crossing water. It later turned into a running joke we continued through all of our lives. I rumbled the shark a couple times and took it down, and then when you told me, "Oh I have found many wands!" was the day I started to fear going out on the water. That bumbled attempt to raid was all my fault because none of the ragers with me geared for strength loss except for me. So what ended up is there were 5 villagers too weak to wield weapons. A.K.A. walking meat for the shark. Hence you got the title. One man's foiled raid is another man's title I guess. Good luck with the Warlocks. I have one rant about the Warlocks, and it is the separated multiple exits from the inner guardian. That needs to be cut out and made like every other cabal. That is death for villagers.

Caysh: Never liked you as a leader, don't like your views of cabal items, but you were one tough bastard. Thanks for the good fights.

Sao: Cocky bastard invoker. I hope I took you down a peg or two .

Karnif: One tough bastard. I didn't know about that rain of stone thing either, but boy was that disgusting. Sorry about wasting you there and sacing your wands.

Other Warlocks: Most of you were not that tough.

SCIONS:
Jhaeryna (sp?): Great fights and great interactions. I enjoyed our talks and your attempts to keep the village off the Scion's back and you trying to indoctrinate me into Scions. Always good time. Take care.

Hvetlin: Also good fights, although you came along late in my life. Again, the battle from Balisica to eastern was fun.

Darian: We fought a few times, but I just roughed you up. You certainly can roleplay, take care.

Other Scions: Who?

TRIBUNAL:
Farnsworth: Said my goodbyes before. ALways good fights.

That bard (don't remember name) Tribunal provincial magistrate: You were as tough as Tsyla a times and and came at me full speed. I hate that new power Tribunal Provincials can bring to bear on wanted people. Especially when there are two of you around and I suddenly have 8 angry mobs on me beatin me up. They were not tough for me, but I feel bad for people who are not hero if you can use it on them, ouch.

Jeselres (sp?): Another annoying one. I think I got you once, maybe not. oh well. Well played transmuter.

Other Tribunals: Don't know how you do it, sitting in town all the time. Talk about boring.

SYLVAN:
Sassmi: Always interesting to talk to you and fight you. I still cannot believe that wall of thorns can be called without the sylvan item, no matter how you explain it. Oh well, that is what was my downfall there in urrks forest. I must h ave fled 8 or 9 times, each time hitting wall, ugh.

Griimbling: Good leader, funny to speak to, and a tough fighter. Keep up the Captainship, you are good indeed.

Iell: Friends to hated enemies, to betrayal, to hated enemies, to friends again. It was a great time. You were tough indeed, good luck with your new character *wink*.

Sylvan mages: I hated that you just stood in the woods and taunted me, BAH, I got you a few times, but not enough for my liking. Sylvan mages have almost immunity to villagers except for rager rangers.

FORTRESS:
The Paladins: I am sorry, names are going out the window now, but all of you were honorable and good to be around. I hope I returned some amount of honor to you. It was tough to hold back while one of you wrathed a evil rager. But whenever you brought another person, I was always there to give you hell of a fight. I fought and killed a few of you. There is not much you can do against a neutral axe/mace spec cloud giant warrior rager.

Rest of you: keep it going.

EMPIRE:
Who? Empire right now just seems like a place to screw people.

NEXUS:
I hated Nexus. It seemed to me that it just became a rager ganging party. I don't know the in's and out's of nexus so I'm a little nieve there. I always found it entertaining although when I would ask a younger nexus where the balance was, they would say evil, and then Four nexus, Straklaw, Kulmortuk, and Thornacrull would show up to gang me at the village. I just don't understand. Oh well.

Punblinpo: Response to your goodbye. I can count at least three times you stunned me and called help. Oh well, hated your character as a character, but loved it as a player. Good luck.

The Nexus Invokers: I felt sorry for you guys, although I was impressed you came at me one at a time sometimes. Just could not stack up a berserker with my specs, keep the war coming.

Erinphalis: Damn bards, the most terrible enemy of a giant rager is the dodge song. I would go into battles pretty sure I would win then you would get it off and I know I would be happy just escaping with my life.

Urzkoo: Never saw you alone.

Sokoerker: I LOVED killing you for so many reasons. Some days you would be honorable and return one or two things the next moment you would be off the hilt cursing me out in an almost OOC fashion. I was very confused by that, but maybe that is part of your roleplay.

Zherukin: Avalanche, ugh. Enough said.

Braoldan: You rocked for coming at me honorably, I left almost all your stuff when you died, except that sceptre of light. I hate that unbreakable weapon, bah!

Other Nexus: Good fighting you all.

NON-CABALLED (OR THOSE I BELIEVED TO BE)
Gastaad: Great character and a good thief. I trusted you pretty much fully despite what you thought. I always thought I held over you a big favor for saving your life from Sao that one time.

Jhaltuvv (sp for sure): Evil bastard, good character, not going far into your character because I think you are still alive. Keep it up.

I know I'm missing a ton of people. Put down a goodbye and I'll respond.

Gangbanging and Full Looting: Never full looted, took a few items here and there, maybe destroyed magic gear if I could (unfortunately with a giant and my alternative weapons, I had maybe one or two slots to loot). One day I was ganged and full looted 8 times by Nexus. That day I just said, "Enough of that, we are full looting them." And from that day on Nexus were full looted, and only Nexus. Hunted got the treatment dictated by who killed them, usually losing some or most of their equipment. The rest, including a CHOICE few nexus, got most of their things back. Many can attest to that. Anyway, try to keep the gangs down to a point where the person has a chance of some kind. When you get to 8 or 9 or 10 people, it is just wrong.

Honor and the Village: I tried to keep as much honor as I could outside of raids. I think many of you can attest to that as well. I hated sitting there letting a mage get away because someone else was fighting them, but I tried to keep it honorable.
