Chapter 2

Why is it I kept removing my soul and placing it in another shell,
as I like to call it, what was the purpose for me? What was it about
death that kept me from attempting to avoid it? These are
questions that have bothered me for millennia now.

I have lived many types of lives, though one thing has always been sure
I always did as I desired. Regardless of the age or era, regardless
of those who might have opposed me or joined me, though I never did
bring anybody with me, this was my guilty desire alone to continue
in my many lives. I did share a bit of information with Yfertis on
the concept of such principles, but they were not detailed enough
that it would allow one to figure it out so easily.

I was born originally a woman of dark-elven blood and it seems that
as my soul falls a part, I will be leaving Thera as such. A fascinating thing
as if fate led me back to this body to live one last time, though I
do not believe I'll ever feel truly satiated, as there is always
more. Deeper and further into the depths of desire I have always delved into.
Living lives as men, women, other races, though those were quite a difficult
thing to become truly comfortable in, the magic of soul transfer was
very intriguing, even if it meant purging vessels of their life and soul,
as I only cared for myself in this regard.

I have come to realize in this most likely last life of mine, I
seek to learn the desires of those who's time is quite so brief compared
to my own, it lead me to Morius and his love. I fear darkness is only
for me, as my soul will not last once it escapes this mortal shell.
I will be left in nothingness, no more desires, no more blissful
moments of pain and love, but I will exsanguinate every bit
of love I can from Father Morius and perhaps they will protect
my soul into their bosom so I may eternally feel, as much as a soul
can, that is.
