Chapter 2

Tib, like a good percentage of the felar population, was born and raised in
the central city of Blackclaw. He was raised beneath the clan of Shadowclaw,
master assassins of the Fort, and as such he was raised as one of the silent
killers. His normal course of life was swayed, however, as many young ones
have experienced, by love. He fell quite in love with the bakers daughter,
his beloved Shelia. This was for two reasons, firstly she was probably the
only fela in the village who had talked to Tib on a regular basis, and
secondly because she made what were unarguably the best pancakes Tib had ever
tasted.They were fluffy and light, with just the right amount of fruity
preserves spread over the top. Lightly buttered, so as not to hide the warm
taste, it could only be compared to having Aasgard transdementionally
relocated into his mouth.

Tib convinced himself that she loved her back, and when every morning to grab
his pancakes. One morning, however, she was just gone.Inexplicably gone.
Her father told Tib that she had gone off to unlock her potential, to study
with the magi. This made Tib furious, and the riot he caused shortly after
caused him to be ejected from the village. As such, he never found out her
location, just that she was somewhere off studying with mages.

After Tib had calmed down a bit and moved to Galadon, he found a focus for
his anger. He would simply slay every mage he could find until there were
none to teach Shelia anymore. Ha, his pancakes would return to him soon!
