- | It takes a weak and hollow person to let failure and rejection |
- | eat away at their soul. Dhaudeshia is the owner of such a soul. |
- | She has grown bitter and twisted since the day she had was |
- | stripped of a normal life. |

- | She started out as a slave in the Keep of Barovia but was |
- | quick to progress through the ranks, and it was not long |
- | before she was directly under the infamous Lich Xoltrindar. |
- | Given to her was the title of 'Keeper of the Hounds', for |
- | she was in charge of the werewolves that protected the castle. |
- | Controlled starvation was required to keep them in a mind- |
- | less passion for flesh. |
- | |
- | However, there came a time when the Lich came to Dhaudeshia |
- | with the offer of immortality. She needed only to drink from a |
- | vial which the Lich had brewed. There was no label, no |
- | warning of the possible side-effects, nothing. And so from |
- | the vial Dhaudeshia did drink, and such was the birth of |
- | the grudge. As she drank, she felt the poison slowly spread |
- | throughout her being, she witnessed her skin change color, |
- | her eyes wept blood. Etched into her limbs were emerald green |
- | serpents that bore a life of their own, hissing and thrashing |
- | about without relent. |
