And I am alone, as always.

Hundreds mill about me in the markets, and I have never felt so isolated. It
has been some time since I was cast out of the guard, and I must leave
Darsylon soon. The looks....even the merchants know...

I took solace in the fact that I could fight my own personal war against the
orcish hordes when the Lord Captain first exiled me. Now, there are no orcs
to fight, and I am easy prey for the wandering mercenaries.

No one can be trusted; I will be alone forever.I know this is the King's
doing. I am the last of the Tersalons, what better way to secure his throne
than banish the longest-standing family...

Is it paranoia?With the commoners I can generally relegate their mistakes
to ignorance. Most of them are too slow-witted to devise any sort of
successful trap...

The road is long, and I am weary. A bitter, wayward guardsman of Darsylon.
