Chapter 1

He grew up with black wings in a family with the surname Whitewing, which led
to him beeing quite but not completely rejected (as he obviously was a
bastard child). So he grew up in a family with many heated arguments and
little love. This lead to a strong desire to get people to respect him, not
just those living now but forever. And as his parents were followers of
Shokai the natural course for Kresh when he left the arial city was to seek
the paladin guild as the great warriors of the light were the heroes of all!
However once there he was rejected due to his inherited impatience from
beeing an avian. This infuriated him to no end, especially when there were
others of his young age joining the guild with the blessing of dark gods!
Dark Gods! The atrocity! They do not allow for Kresh to join yet they allow
people outrightly breaking the paladin code to join!

So Kresh wandered the streets feeling very angry yet very empty. His goal of
beeing respected by all was far away now. It was then he stumbled upon the
necromancers guild and decided to join, at first simply to claim revenge on
the paladins and all that his family represented. More specifically that
faked belif in something good which his family had upheld and that he now
found in the paladin guild.

After a while in the guild he found himself to become at peace. Working with
Death came very natural to him and soon he applied to join the Empire to
strengthen himself and one day become the most feared and respected man to
walk Thera.


When he in the Empire learn futher of Khasotholas and his religion he
realised it much matched his own path and though he deeply respects
Khasotholas he does not as others wish to work for Khasotholas but rather for
himself.


Makholvek
--------
The now undead priest of Khasotholas has had a great impact on Kresh's life.
While they have lived very diffrent lives yet they strive for somewhat
similar things and above all they have had long talks about necromancy, the
black sect and the Empire. Kresh does not care if he is simply one to serve
as long as that which is gained surpasses the effort. And the wisdom and
power Makholvek shares with Kresh more than suffices.

Kresh could see the fact that the Dread Lord has placed so much trust in him
as something to be abused at one time to futher gain power and respect, but
not for now.

Something concerns Kresh however. It is the fact that the lich willingly
wields the Unholy Sword of Zurcon. Surely the Priest of Creation and Order
knows of it's nemesis, Destruction and Chaos? Yet Kresh does not mention this
thinking on some level that it will be one of the things that eventually will
let him advance past Makholvek and seize the Throne.
