Chapter 2

Drax grew up in the Dwarven Kingdom of Akan, a diplomats son. He was to
follow in the footsteps of his father and become one himself, an idea that
Drax loathed. Obstinate as a child, he grew to completely hate his life
there. He thought that his whole family was "a bunch of sissies" for
choosing that type of life. He even hates his last name "Peaceforge." Many
in his family and in the court began to study magic in order to gain an
advantage over those they negotiated with as well as to aid themselves.This
was the last straw. The refusal to study magic and the disrespect he showed
towards all who did as well as to the other diplomats caused him to be sent
from Akan. Though he would have left anyway, this has only fueled his hatred
of magic.
