Varun K'Evar the Legend of the Battlefield

Description

A squat powerfully built creature is here.
It is clad from head to foot in a menangerie
of bones, curious looking trophies and other
more elaborate pieces of armor, hides and leathers.
The bones are scrimshawed with tiny yet perfectly rendered
battle scenes and other dances maccabre.
the trophies seem to be shrivelled and hard, embalmed some how.
The more elaborate pieces of armor seem to be arranged
in a fashion designed to deflect rather than absorb blows.
Staring at the creatures feet you realise its powerful legs
terminate in a set of vicious talons.
The tattered cloaks surronding its neck only partially
disguise the damage to its wings, ragged and frayed.
the odd patches not covered completly by its armor show
skin and plumage ravished by constant years of war.
Its age and gender almost obscured by the severity of its scarring.
Perhaps this mangled looking war bird is none other than
Varun K'Evar Legend of the Battlefield
