Chapter 4

Icthaen is spawn from a rare breed, hailing all the way back to the Ancient
Birds of which his kindred evolved from. He can be flightly, even ignorant at times,
but above all Icthaen is a being of rage. Not to be confused with anger, resentment
or even vengeance, Icthaen's rage is particular to the energy that drives him to his goals.
Bubbly at times (under the influence of liquor or not), Icthaen is much less affected
by the darkness that often encircles him. However, he is a warrior, and a proud one
and he does not take kindly to the destruction and deception that often harrows the night.
Yet somehow Icthaen still finds time to stop at local pubs, bards and sneaks off
to his friends in Akan for a sip from their special brew. He is aware of his duty to himself,
to harvest his essence towards the Destruction of evil, for the good of himself, and others.

The beliefs that flows over him is that the destruction of darkness if obtained not only
with the blade, but with the heart. You will often hear him speak of 'shining', refering
to the need to make the light shine as brightly as can be with happiness, companionship
and merry making.
