Chapter 1

Fifty years ago, there was once a tribal, formed by a group
of witches. Though these witches are not magus, they are
the some of those blessed children of the land. The name of
this tribal is, Sookare. All the witches of this tribal were
either deserted by their family due to their natural gift or
they chose to leave their family to fulfill their destiny,
which is to defend the land. All the members of this tribal
are female, no specific reason as to why they are all female
though no one knows what it might be, even if there is one.
This tribal farms for its living, though some of the blessed
are able to forage for food, though that is not sufficient.
The tribal is situated within a misty mountain, hidden away
from most mortals. The members of this tribal only exit the
mountain, during the war, and when recovering from the war,
their tracks are being carefully hidden away. Even though,
this tribal is formed by the female species, it has said to
have some of the best war bringers amoung the lands.

One fine day, during the cold winter, there is a loud cry
within one of their farmyards. A cry that doesn't sound
like a mortal, nor a beast. It seems to them, that is is
a cry from the land. The whole tribe gathered at that
particular farmyard, which happens to be a maize farmyard,
only to see an enmorous peach, settling in the middle of
the farmyard. Puzzled by the sudden appearance of the giant
peach, the members of the tribe are at lost. A long instant
of silence passes by, until one of the members, broke the
silence. She suggested that it is possible that the peach
is a gift from the land, from the unknown wild spirits of
the land, as a reward for their works in defending the land.
She also suggested that the peach is to be sliced and shared
amoung all the members. Yet again, a long moment of silence
passes by. By then, all the members agreed to slice it open.
The strongest female amoung the tribe was chosen to slice it
open. Holding her axe high up, she aims at the center of the
peach and slices her way through, only to find there is life
within the peach. This day, Massie Sookare was born. She was
named Massie, merely 'cos she was found in the peach, in the
maize farmyard. Her lastname is Sookare, similar to all other
members of the tribe.

Years passed by, Massie is eleven by then. Throughout the
years, she has been taught about the lands, about the wild
spirits that roams around, about how she can defend herself,
the reasoning of existence of the tribe. Due to the reason
that she is yet still young, Massie is not allowed to
participate in numerous fights that occured while she is
brought up. Unfortunately, the numbers of the tribe decreases
after each fight. The number of enemies that rape the land
has increases greatly over the years. Though the members of
the tribe were outnumbered in all the fights, they do not
cease to continue bringing war towards those who took the
land for granted. It was until then, whats left is just
Massie and the eldest female of the tribe, only the two of
them left, where the rest of the members have fallen in the
most recent fight. The only elder left, realise that the
time is not ripe. But she is too old to fight anymore and
