RoleChapter 1 Past Added Mon Sep 6 08:18:22 2004 at level 1:In a month of great heat, a loud cry sounded throughout the village of Jinvalr, a small allocation village southeastern of the Ruined City. It was the cry of a newborn. When a newborn descends into this world, happiness is spread throughout. But not for this newborn. There seemed to be more anger and sadness than anything else. This newborn was deformed in appearance, believed to be cursed and would brought forth great, unspeakable disasters. A newborn, fated to be an outcast, despised by others from birth. It was the birth of Raikorsai.
Sadness filled the house Jarvoski. A devastated mother and an angry father. Days passed and a decision was made. Raikorsai, was to be sacrificed, in hope that any curse or disaster, would not be enforced onto the village by the gods. A human sacrifice made, in an attempt to please the gods, with the blood of a newborn. On the night of the sacrifice, in the midst of the sacrificial ritual, a holy knight came upon the village. Realising what was going on, deeply disgusted by it, she decided to rescue the newborn. She fought her way through the villagers, grabbed hold of the newborn and rode her way out of the village. Much to her surprise, the villagers did not chase her, but in any case, she decided to ride as far away as she could. She was tired and so was her horse; a rest was required.
The rest was not long, until the dawn broke, with birds chirping their hearts out. The holy knight, uncovered the hood of the newborn, only to be freaked out at the next instant by the looks of this newborn. Her horse which happened to peep at the newborn, went hysterical and wild, which ended up dashing off into the nearby woods. The deformed skull, face and limbs totally got her out of nowhere. Very much affected by the appearance of this newborn, the holy knight decided to discard the newborn before any bad luck was brought onto herself. She placed the newborn by the roadside, hoping that someone, who was able to accept the appearance of this newborn, would kindly take him in. She placed three gold coins by the side of the newborn's quilt and rushed off as quickly as she could.
A carriage passed by, seeing the newborn, decided to pick it up. Surprisingly, the owner of the carriage decided to keep this newborn, despite his looks. Years passed and young Raikorsai was now eight years old. He was treated like a slave, whipped all day long, forced to do jobs which never seemed to end while given only crumbs to fill his hunger every day. It was cold and hungry at night, all he had on him, was a pathetic piece of rag to cover his body. He had no choice but to consume living rats caught near his bedroom, which was a pig sty. He had to use water from the nearby murky river to clean himself. Covered with wounds, he sobbed his night away, until he fell asleep. The next day would be another beginning of torture.
As years passed, Raikorsai became a grown adult, looking more deformed than ever. His scalp had scars and strange contours, pretty much out of shape, compared to a normal human. His left eye was red, while the other green. He had an extremely small pair of ears, probably the smallest that ever existed. His lips were extremely thick and he had a very highly lifted nose, probably one of the highest that one had ever seen. His bac
