Chapter 6

As the years went by I honed my skills day in and day out. I lived for the
thrill of battle and any chance at all to throw myself into it. Holding
always to the guidelines of so many heroes I had read about, honorable
combat, holding myself to the highest degree of morality and never giving up
in the face of adversity. That by my will alone I would be able to shape the
world in a way that what happened to my parents would never happen again.
I've slain my first handful of magi already and it is a good start. When I
stumbled upon the Village of Battleragers it was clear that I finally had a
home again. Since then I've held true to my ideals and slain my first handful
of magi, it is a small beginning but still a beginning along the right path.
