Chapter 2

*Teldasill slinks from bush to bush remaining unseen as she slips around the
Prosimy forest heading back to the Tree. An odd sense comes over like when
the Ancients first spoke to her, and she closes her eye without fear this
time. Her veins surge with green light and she falls over as if commanded to
sleep as a Tree pulls it's root from the ground and hides her in a fern*

She opens her eye and is face down on the earth, her excuse of a nose takes
in the smell of dirt of and trampled grasses as she pulls her mangled hands
to her side to support herself. She quits breathing for a moment and hears a
sound of sizzling, as if a farmer was branding his cattle. Growing louder and
louder to a hiss she raises her eye to see the feet of something, the ground
being burned all around it and becoming lifeless...

Looking up with a sense of fear, a demented looking conjurer stands glaring
deep into her one eye, illuminated only by the moon that peeks from behind a
dark cloud in the night time sky. A cackling devil dances around at his side
and a hulking form of water towers over the conjurer from behind. The ground
continues to crackle and burn below it's feet as she scuffles backwards
attempting to create some distance.

The conjurer crosses his arms and glares without movement as a piercing sound
blasts Teldasill's ears. Like fingernails on the chalkboard back in her old
classroom, this sound is magnified in a much worse fashion. She covers her
floppy burned ears in an attempt to find the source as she sees a dwarf and
duergar from out of the trees on both respective sides of her, each one
dragging a pickaxe that sligtly tears open the earth. They stop in their
tracks and the incessant disturbing sound stops with the dragging of their
axes halted, and she stands up ready to shift into a beast...
