Chapter 2

Things turned sour one fateful day when she sat at the lake studying,
when what was the best guess of the elders an escaped dragonling from the queen's lair.
white hot dragonfire consumed Kelei and everything around her.
somehow she survived. The local healers did what they could but it was not enough.
Emergency crews were brought in from voralian city to do what they could for the damage.
They brought her through, though horribly scarred she was nonetheless thankful for her life.
the priests called her a miracle, told her she had been purified by dragonfire.
she was skeptical but ceeded to their wisdom.
