Chapter 1

The power that Alelas sought couldn't come from his strength alone, he knew,
for he was a cunning and intelligent individual. To progress he would need
allies. There were two possibilities in front of him. He could go with the
bringers of law, the Blood Tribunal and enforce the law on others. Else he
could join the Empire of Thera and grow in power as a warrior for the
furtherment of one civilization under the absolute authority of a single
Empire. The latter appealed more to his chances of acheiving power and
dominion overs those he considered weak and would provide him a place to
prove that even though he was a half-bred, he could become strong and
powerful. His decision made he became a bloodoath to the Empire and his
journey began.
