Lais was found on the doorstep of the Darysalon thieve's guild by Markus the guildmaster.
A small note with a single phrase was left with her as she was just a toddler.
"The greatest light I can give should be shared with others."
As an orphan growing up under the care of the Darysalon thieves guild she learned the larcenous arts.
Excelling at a speed unheard of even for elves she got bored and became fascinated with art and beauty.
Markus would often take her to the Inn of the Eternal Star to view the paintings and statues of the Troupe.
She was mesmorized and would often spend hours looking at different things.
Her favorite among these was a former herald by the name of Stellyx Windstone.
The elven mage was an Arbiter of Law and a great poet.
After reading his complete works over and over she decided this is where she wanted to be.
She would use her skills to benefit those she could and create pieces of inspiration and beauty.
