Chapter 17

A heavily muscled figure lays in a bed of the coma ward. Bandages cover
head and a drain slowly leaks fluid from the back of his skull. By his
side is a young stocky figure, hunched over in a chair, left arm extended
firmly clasping the huge arm of the figure infront of him.

"I know you can hear me in there Sek, I have a surprise for you today."

The young stocky figure moves toward the television and places a video
casset in the vidio recorder.

"Last night there was a special on the idiot machine about Muhammad Ali,
we know he is one of your favourites so we recored it for you."

Standing back the young stocky figure hits the play button, and takes a
seat by the huge figures side. As the TV lights up the opening credits
start with the exhibition match against Michael Dokes. Muhammad Ali is
on the ropes dodging dancing and weaving away from anything thrown at
him.

Sekope sub-conciously runs his right hand across the back of his
head, fingers probing the surface seeking ... something ... as
his hand reaches the nape of his neck he pauses frozen in time. Slowly
shaking his head he utters the words

"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. The hands can't hit what the
eyes can't see.
