Chapter 13

I banished one minotaur to the abyss today, a disgusting creature
that was ransacking and attacking the dwarves of Akan. My home.
I only regret I could not kill the other warrior with the beast, but he was still safe from my
wrath. For now. However, in the heat of battle and with that adrenaline flowing through me veins, I
found words escaping my lips. It seems the lust of battle takes control of me and not even
a resolute paladin of dwarven ancesetry can overcome the thrill of battle and maintain silence.
However, I follow the way of Combat and Earth, and I find that the best manner of preaching
to the wicked is through smiting them and showing them the power Ysaolerye bestows on the worthy.
And so I find that my vow, which I still strive to adhere to, must give way in the excitement
of combat and while adrenaline still pumps through my veins.
Only by preaching the glory of Ysaolerye to those I defeat will others be
made aware of the strength of the Paragon, mightiest of the immortals.
