Chapter 1

Well, today was somewhat eventful. I ran into the witch Ramora and
managed to stay my hand from attempting to murder her. She does not
seem to listen to a word I say. Obviously still ridden with madness.
I told her I thought perhaps I could help her, by being a friend and
showing forgiveness for what she had done. She seemed to ignore that
and went on to say I was imprisoned by the sirines. I suppose a
reference to my current form which I'v yet to find a cure for. I'll
not slay her just to reverse a curse which afflicts me, an act of
selfishness.

Ah, and old Iron Lung Creighton. A solid friend and now long time
companion of the road. He finally decided to tell me of his past and
the reasoning behind some of his...odd actions. I'll not write it here
as that would betray his trust, but I believe I can empathize with being
made to wear a dress. In any case I feel a strong bond between us and
I'v learned much from him. I'll stand with him whenever and where ever
he might need it.

Perhaps I should address another matter as well. There seems to be a
general trend in those who seek my demise. They all seem to be Imperials.
I'm not sure what I'v done to offend them, aside from living the
wonderfully free life that I do. It came to a point where I very nearly
sought out the Marans. But no, that life would be too strict and would
chafe my spirit. In any case, I doubt I will show the mercy shown to
Ramora when the Empire is involved.
