RoleChapter 2 Child's training. Added Thu Jul 13 12:40:55 2006 at level 15:Blughurn never knew his father or mother. Since childhood he was living under Seantryn Modan city, deep in dark and wet catacombs. Surrounded only by rats, worms and snakes, he barely seen daylight. His only friends were three thieves, dwelling in a secret building at the northern part. They weren't too nice with Blughurn, yet never rised their hands on him. When he grew up into a boy and begun to realise different things about himself, his life and his 'parents', he begun to ask - ask about himself, about them, about parents. But alas, his questions met only silence. Emotionless silence. When young minotaur became eight years old, he was given a wooden sword, wooden shield and primitive armor. Then he was led deep into the sewers and dropped there - alone, in darkness, with only one glowing piece of armor - simple silvery amulet on his neck. Whispers, sounds of dropping water, hissing... That couldn't end good. One rat, then second, then third, and snake... all were dying quickly, but more and more, and more, and more been crawling from their holes, biting young minotaur. Finally, he fell on the floor, mind left his body, death... death came for him, yet his fingers didn't let the sword go... When he open his eyes, he found himself home. Wounded, almost eaten up, with tangled and gnawed fur, but alive. And sword remained in his hand - even unconscious he didn't part with it. His parents, tormentors and teachers didn't comment anything. Remained silent, they healed the young warrior... and next week, when he somewhat recovered, threw him back into the sewers. This time Bulghurn was ready: instead of prey, he became a hunter. But still, there were too much of angry creatures, and young minotaur ended the same way - at home, badly wounded, in the bed. During next years this harsh training were repeating everytime he was recovering from the battle. Until one day - day of his victory, when he left no single creature alive below the city. This day was end of his childhood and education. When he returned home, he found it empty. No sign of his teachers - only few drops of blood on the floor and strange scent in the air. Tempting, sweet aroma... Aroma of unknown woman. Without long thinking, Blughurn gathered his things - simple sword and nearly worthless armor, and left home. Left home, never to return, to find answers that he never been given - and probably more than just answers. Who fated him to such life? Who were his teachers? Who drew them away? And that aroma... Easily minotaur found his way out of catacombs, following aroma. It led him to the underwater passage, and next - to the coast, to the sea... and further, to Hamsah Mu'tazz city. City of wonders, where Blughurn decided to stay for a while.
