Sanctuary appears to lessen (roughly half) the effect of elven adagio. To recreate:

Wood-elf bard, comedic pref, in comedic, silver harmonica instrument
Healer casts sanctuary on bard.
Bard sings elven adagio
Elven adagio will heal for ~40 instead of ~80 on bard
