The mist is thinner here than in the pool outside, allowing for greater
visibility. Unlike the rough cavern, this room is constructed of sturdy
stone blocks seamlessly joined together. The color and grain of the blocks
are different than normally found in volcanic regions. They are coated with
what appears to be a transparent film that is smooth to the touch. Two
rusted iron brackets are affixed to the north and west walls. Each holds a
small magical orb in place of a torch, which gives off a bluish glow. The
light is ample enough to make out other "torches" across the expanse of the
room. Thick clumps of algae cover the surface of the water, but are
noticeably absent from the walls.


An uninteresting key crafted of lead is half-buried in muck.
