A thinning pine forest
The trees are slightly thinner here, but you still cannot make out any sense
of direction. The underbrush is made mostly of scrub pine and small bushes with
shiny leaves and small berries. The trees seem to join together at the top,
blotting out the sun enough that you cannot even guess as to what direction
north is, much less which way you came from. The occasional howl of a lonesome
wolf is the only indication that you are not completely alone here in the
forest.
