The most dominating thing in this rather small room is the map hung on the
northern wall, covering it almost entirely and thus being roughly twenty
by eight feet in size. It seems to have a great deal of detail in it, and
many small pins are stuck in it at places of importance. Other than the
map, there's very little in the room, namely a wooden desk filled with
smaller maps and parchments, and a magical lantern of some kind shedding
just enough light to dispel most of the shadows. A door to your west is
apparently the only way out.

Even though the chair is entirely made of simple wood, it still bears a
certain aura of elegance and impeccable quality. All edges have been
smoothed and surfaces polished, and the back of the chair is engraved
with hundreds upon hundreds of tiny lightning bolt symbols, forming an
intricate pattern. The chair seems rather heavy as it is, though, and
the iron braces holding its structure firm do not really help making it
lighter.
