As I understand it, Ehren Soul basically makes anti-gang code more effective both ways - if you are being ganged, you have a better chance to have anti-gang code fire and whatever they were trying not work. If you are ganging, you have a GREAT chance to have whatever you were trying not work.

Ehren Lord doesn't deal with this at all, AFAIK - instead, if you deal damage to someone you aren't swinging at (Riposte, area spell, concealed, bardsong, 45+AP with Bloodlust, etc), you do more damage if you're being ganged (more than 2 people swinging at you, IIRC).

NepDaev can correct me on the above if I'm wrong.

#gag {(PK) Woldrun}

Parry Anything I didn't get until I had about 5 deaths left, and it was crazy good against mobs, and rarely fired against pc's. Which is cool because at the point I got it (from Daevryn, via RP'd bartering) I didn't really think I'd get anything good (Woldrun told Daevryn that maybe something he couldn't normally learn would be appropriate...I half expected him to be like "Ok, leader of the enemy cabal, here's "Smoke and Mirrors." Go nuts." His explanation later was that while yes Woldrun was anti-Nexus, he was also a "crush your enemies" type dude so Daevryn had some respect for him.

Anyways, I discussed with him that he maybe should remove it from the char after I had one round with battlement guards where there were 4 spec-skills parried (2 weaponbreakers, a cranial, and a boneshatter I think). But at his suggestion, I kept a close eye for it working in PK. I think it did once the entire time I had it - parried an autotrip from the War Master or something (which obviously wouldn't have worked anyway).

I had parry anything with Feilinal and it was pretty sweet, though.

Eyes in the Back of Your Head is tough to tell whether it's helping or not. But it was a must-have for Woldrun, since his biggest challenges were assassinate-assassins and bards.

>Q: What was your healing like with cloud con (assuming it was
>doing alright when you had that suite of edges), wise
>recovery, etc?

I really liked how fast Woldrun healed, most of the time, with the suite of edges and wise recovery (which came in VERY handy toward then end...Cloud wis ain't great, but it sure beats 5 con. :P)

Bedigink actually accused me of having Whispers at one point because I healed up faster than he expected. But having played Shilbor right before Woldrun, um, no. Shilbor could heal 1000 hp in 3 ticks of sleeping. He would heal 100 hp a tick while fighting.

The thing about that suite of edges is there's never a reason not to take them other than conserving edge points for something else. What warrior never needs to heal?
